Nicole Haché explores our intimate connection with the forest, a place where our senses awaken. She interrogates the synergy between humans and nature, as well as the impact of interactions on our mental and physical well-being.
In her performance, Nicole transforms the space into a carpet of dried beech leaves, inviting contemplation and meditation. Her slow and poetic gestures allow immersion in the soothing rhythm of nature. She drags a branch, explores the sounds of the leaves beneath her feet, breathes in their scent, and manipulates each natural object with focused intention. Her movements evoke the transition of the seasons and reflect an intimate dialogue between the artist and her environment.
The artist embodies our deep connection with nature, symbolizing a mythological spirit, between dream and reality. This lyrical and contemplative work reminds us to slow down to appreciate the changes in the natural world through our own inner transformations.
